People write reviews about everything these days.
I can read reviews about toasters, taps, trainers or tennis racquets online. These may not be very interesting to all of us but it?s worth finding more information about what we do enjoy, from reading reviews, and then adding our own comments.
If you want to practice writing English then write a review on something you have used recently. This will help you in two ways;
- It will make you think about how you feel about a product or service, and make you put those thoughts into writing.
- You will get free feedback on your review from other readers, telling you if they love (or hate) your review.
Here are some review sites that I look at quite regularly. Take a look at these for some inspiration.
All of these reviews are free, so please don?t pay for any more access to these sites, unless you are really interested in the topic.
Reviews are great because they are often written in colourful and imaginative language to attract and engage with the reader. See if you can pick up some writing types from these guys.
