Apple relaunches 12 Days Of Christmas iTunes Giveaway

For the good boys and girls gifted with iPads, iPods and iPhones this Christmas, Apple has a little treat in store. For the third year running it has launched its 12 Days of Christmas iTunes giveaway, which means lots of daily freebies starting from Boxing Day. Cheers Apple and merry Christmas to you too.

As an extra little treat to go with those cold turkey sandwiches and left over mince pies, the 12 Days of Christmas iTunes giveaway is a chance to bag daily apps, songs, music videos and books from iTunes for the 12 days immediately following Christmas.

To ensure that you don't forget about the free items, download the 12 Days Of Christmas app, which includes a notification feature outlining what you can download and when. And if you don't have an iOS device, but do have an iTunes account, the freebies will be available to download from your computer.

Perhaps the only drawback is that the goods aren't compatible with devices sporting pre-iOS 4.3 software, although hopefully anybody with an iPhone 3G or first/second generation iPod Touch, will have a newer model waiting in their stockings come Christmas.?
