Question by Qwerty: What kind of schooling does it take to be an elementary school teacher?
Do I need more than an associates degree and teaching credentials? If so, what do I need? What kind of classes should I be taking? Is a general education degree enough, or do I need to graduate with a specific major? Is there anything I should be doing outside of school to raise my chances of getting a job? If there is anything else I should know, please enlighten me. Thanks!

You need a minimum of a Bachelor?s degree with teaching certification. I?m currently majoring in Biology, and intend to become a high school science teacher.
